Who is behind Bold Humans?

Bold Humans started in 2019 as a gender-inclusive, queer-focused adult store. In 2026 we joined the GenderGender family, the gender-affirming shop for trans and non-binary people. We're a small queer-run business, and we're carrying on what Bold Humans was always about: body safety, inclusivity, and ethics, with no compromises. Want the full story? Read more about us here.

Is my order shipped discreetly?

Always. Your order arrives in plain, neutral packaging with nothing on the outside that hints at what's inside or where it came from. Your bank or card statement shows only a short, neutral code, never "Bold Humans" or anything that reveals what you bought. Your privacy matters to us, on the box and in our records.

How do I know a product is body-safe?

We only stock toys made from body-safe materials like medical-grade silicone, glass, or stainless steel, with a few exceptions for products that aren't meant for internal use (cock rings, packers, strokers and masturbators are often made with a flexible TPR blend). We never sell toxic, porous materials like jelly rubber. You can read more about sex toy materials and how to clean them here.

What does "vegan and ethical" actually mean here?

Every product we carry is vegan, out of respect for the planet and everyone living on it. Where a product is traditionally made from leather, or where health products like lubricants and condoms might contain animal ingredients, we've sourced animal-friendly, cruelty-free alternatives so you can enjoy some guilt-free love.

What do you mean by "gender-inclusive"?

A person is not defined by their genitals, so to us there's no such thing as a "vibrator for women" or a "cock ring for men." Not every brand has caught up with the world beyond the binary yet. If a brand makes a gendered claim on its packaging that could be hurtful or dysphoria-inducing, we flag it with a trigger warning in the product description so you know before you buy.

We're a small queer business, so for now we keep stock limited. Get in touch if something your heart desires is sold out and we'll let you know when it's back.

When will I get my package, and what does shipping cost?

We offer free shipping on orders over €50 within the EU and over €100 worldwide. For delivery times, costs and everything else shipping-related, see our shipping policy.

Can I pick up my order in person?

Yes! You can collect your order for free at our GenderGender shop in Ghent:

Just choose "Pick Up" at checkout and we'll send further instructions once your order is ready.

Do you have a physical store?

We do not carry the Bold Human products at our GenderGender shop in Ghent (address and hours above), but you can order online and pick up Bold Humans orders in the shop!

Can I return a product?

For hygiene reasons, intimate products that have been opened or used can't be returned. Unopened items in their original packaging may be eligible. Please check our return policy for the full details, and contact us if something arrived damaged or wrong, we'll always make it right.

What payment methods can I use?

We accept the major options including credit cards, Shop Pay and more. You'll see everything available to you at checkout.
